I believe we can bring back Goode this week. Have to think that is an option if he's healthy. ST has to get back to mistake free football.

Hart actually snapped it okay on that miss yesterday. But he directly affected the blocked figgy the previous game.

He is not sure or stout in his role at all. Get a new guy. He affects the chain of confidence. And that is never a good thing.

Can Goode last more than a game or two?

right, it wasn't the best snap, but vogel botched it, could have something to do with wet ball.

That dropped snap was clearly on Vogel. Why does he wear a glove when holding, but not when he is punting?

The #Packers are 95-49-1 through 145 career games with Brett Goode as their long-snapper. They’re 97-51-0 with Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback. #uselessstats

Now wait a minute there, buckaroo. If you're suggesting that Goode should play QB...

The ball was basically snapped into Vogel’s face. Placement was awful. Needed to be down and over to the left so he could catch it cleanly with his hands. It completely through off Vogel’s placement and the timing of a Crosby.
TT needs to be fired. Hire me, ya boy, Lupedafiasco- Make the Packers great again. I would have never drafted that bum Randall.

No, the snap was not at Vogel's face, it was at his hip. The snap was too far to the right, but not bad on height. Could definitely have been a better snap, but Vogel should caught it and got it down.

Rookie punter Justin Vogel, serving as the Packers’ place-kick holder, bobbled Derek Hart’s snap and was unable to recover in time for Crosby to have a clean kick. Crosby’s boot never had a chance, sailing wide right.

“We obviously didn’t have a good operation,” Crosby said. “Bobbled the snap, and should probably call fire there. I don’t know if the ball ever really even got down all the way. So, unfortunate. We need to execute that so that we go up 10, and ballgame over.

“So disappointing to hit that, especially the day we had leading up to it.”

No, every post is not secretly about wanting Capers fired.

This snippet from Peter King's MMQB article relates to this conversation:

Tyler Shatley, long-snapper, Jacksonville.

Never long-snapped in a game in high school. Never long-snapped in a game in college. Never long-snapped in an NFL game. But with Matt Overton out with a shoulder injury, Shatley entered and snapped for Josh Lambo’s game-tying field goal with three seconds left in the fourth quarter. Then he snapped for Lambo’s game-winning field goal in overtime. Now that’s a fairly clutch performance.

I really don't understand why it's so hard for the Packers to find a decent replacement long snapper. It shouldn't be this hard. Hell, Jacksonville used a guy who hadn't done it before at any level and yet their kicker-holder-snapper tandem executed their plays flawlessly.

Yet here are the Packers, bringing oft injured Goode back from the dead because Thompson and staff can't seem to find anybody to replace him. WTF?
