Today is the first day of OTAs that is open to the public at 11:30 central time, so I'd expect to see something later today.

A few worthy notes...
Jason Wilde‏@jasonjwilde41m
Unofficial non-participants at #Packers OTA: D.Harris, S.Richardson, D.House, S.Shields, D.Moses, D.Bishop, D.Sherrod, R.Pickett, J.Worthy.

Also JC Tretter doesn't seem to be at practice. Jolly is gone too.

Newhouse and Bakhtiari both taking snaps @ RT - Obviously going to try everyone there.

Wes Hodkiewicz‏@WesHod29m
Cobb, Nixon, Nelson and Tramon Williams shagging punts

Charles Johnson and Ross also got in on punts too.

Sounds like guys are getting chippy. Bulaga and Datone Jones got into it and Brad Jones and Finley got into it.

These guys are ready to hit someone! Early practices are always like this.

Pete Dougherty‏@PeteDougherty1m
Mile Neal working some at OLB, couple snaps in team then just dropped in coverage in 7 on 7, strange for 294 pound guy

Mike Vandermause‏@MikeVandermause1m
Rodgers overthrows Finley in end zone. Practice ends after 1 hour, 57 minutes.

McCarthy to talk shortly. Then open locker room.

Here is what I would love to see the Packers show at nickel some of the time:
Raji in a strong side 1 technique
Neal in a strong side 6 technique if a TE or a strong side 5/4 technique without a TE
Jones as a weak side 4/5 technique
Bishop at MLB
Hawk as SLB
Matthews at WLB

You could do so many different things out of that. I would love it!

Now we just need to play 3-4 more often. :!:

Mike Vandermause‏@MikeVandermause15s
McCarthy: JC Tretter injured yesterday, will not be available for rest of OTAs.

No word on what the injury is. That's disappointing.

Zach Kruse‏@zachkruse256s
McCarthy: I'm going to expand Mike Neal's role.

Mike Vandermause‏@MikeVandermause54s
McCarthy: Mike Neal at LB, depends on how you view guys in space. Want to expand Neal's role.

Brian Carriveau‏@BrianCarriveau1m
McCarthy on Mike Neal and OLB: It depends how you look at it. Defensive ends drop in a fire zone too. We want to expand Mike Neal's role.

Vague answers your thing? Here you go.

Mike Vandermause‏@MikeVandermause3s
McCarthy: Bishop, Sherrod, House would like to see those guys out there. To rank them, Bishop, House, Sherrod in terms of when coming back.

Ugh, Sherrod being third on that list is frustrating.

What's House's injury? I don't remember having heard about it.
