If Kapernick was better than terrible they might be winning this.

Both of these teams are no longer as good as they once were. I didn't mind seeing SF lose yet again but unfortunately one of these losers had to win. The chickens got 17 in the first half but could only muster 3 more points in the second half. Even if they make the playoffs they won't be scaring anybody.

And amazing special teams and D that kept the opposing team off the field, gave them good field position, and with about 2-3 more all-pro's on the OL.

the coaches for these teams should be fired for not being able to adjust and do well with the talent they have  not having PB players at each position is just a excuse

Saw that too, Bowman and Brooks.

We only have 2 from 2010, Raji and Clay (Shields maybe if you include nickel back)

to me these are very telling comments, basically Ted has rebuilt this defense mostly through the draft, so while we expected this defense to play better then it has 2011 till the middle of last year, they where unrealistic demands considering we've added 23 new players to the unit.

It's completely NOT unrealistic to expect competent defensive play year in and year out, especially if the GM is supplying the unit with talent through the draft and free agency. To accept bottom level performance year after year is just plain dumb.

Amazing how you continue to drag this asinine argument into thread after thread.
