Cheesy topics (like the Cheese Curds thread) go here. Topics that aren't football related will be moved here as well.

Mmmm.... cheese.

Any guesses as to how long before Roenicke is canned?

Not Roenicke's fault the players have forgotten how to play the game. That said, if this keeps up, he'll be gone by the All Star break.

When they don't even look like a professional team, that's down to the manager. Bad hitting or bad pitching, or even both, should be put down to the players; but when in the field they count only 1 error as a good game and they regularly miss the simplest double play, that's the manager for me. IMO they need to work purely on fielding for a week or two - forget about hitting. Work on fielding, demand of the players that they become, if not good, at least competent. Maybe the concentration on fielding would help them stop worrying about hitting.

Welp, that didn't take long.

The Milwaukee Brewers fired manager Ron Roenicke on Sunday after the team started the Major League Baseball season with a league-worst 7-18 record.

Ironic the firing occurred immediately following the teams first two game win streak and first series win of the season.

Well, it's obvious this season is a lost cause. What of all these trades, though? How did the Brewers fare going forward?

I like it. clean house, bring in some young guys for the future and see how it goes. we would lose the guys we traded anyway so why not get something out of it.

some moves at the top need to happen, like Melvin getting the boot.
