Traded:
Gary Barnidge, TE
Mark Ingram, RB
Buffalo DST

Received:
Randall Cobb, WR
Delanie Walker, TE
Denver DST

I already own Eddie Lacy. If Rodgers and Co. get on a roll, I'll like my team.

I hope you have strong RB's outside of Lacy who has been bad. Ingram is a consistent solid RB especially in PPR. If Cobb turns it up and starts getting open that trade looks alright.

I have Lacy, Yeldon, and Chistine Michael still on my roster, which sounds weak, but consider its my 16 team money league. Every team struggles to field two solid RBs. I'm hoping Lacy gets back to form, Yeldon continues as a decent RB2 option and Michael lives up to the hype. I still have Julius Thomas at TE so should still be ok there. Denver has been amazing at DST but their schedule will get tougher. Still think they'll be solid, tho.

If Cobb gets back to his usual self, I'll have him, TY Hilton, Jarvis Landry, and John Brown to choose between. I like that group

Yeah that's a solid WR group for sure. And for a 16 team league your starting lineup looks awesome.

WHo is the Commish of the Packernews Free League on Yahoo?

Yahoo has suspended my account ref. inactivity...I can't access the site anymore.

Also, did I win today?

Crap - I'll look into that. I'm the commish - was at work all day.

Edit: Looks like paco pantsed you with the highest score of the week. You have Michael Floyd yet to play and 51 points to cover.

So... you have no Yahoo! account at all now? How do they call you inactive when you've been managing a team?

Which three would you start this week?

TY Hilton @ Carolina
John Brown @ Cleveland
Randall Cobb @ Denver
Jarvis Landry @ New England

Yeah, was thinking that, too, but Landry has been such a consistent scorer this season it's tough to sit him.

I'd sit Cobb honestly. Tough matchup this week for him. Landry will get extra targets should NE race out to a big league again.

It's close on all of them.

What another rough year in this league. I've scored the most points and yet here I sit at 2-5.

The important thing is that you continue to score lots of points and take out the teams in front of me. I need lots of help!

I'd sit Hilton. Luck is struggling big time and Carolina defense will force him into some bad throws. Cobb may not produce big but if there is a sliver of hope against a stout Denver defense I'll take my chances with AR calling the shots.

Doing my best here man.

This is the only league out of 4 that I have a losing record in. I'm 4-3 in my other Yahoo unpaid league in 3rd place and I'm 5-2 in both my ESPN paid leagues and in 2nd place in both. Driving me nuts. :horse

BB DEFs usually take away the other team's #1 pass option.

I went back to this to make sure what I thought I knew was actually correct. What I found was kinda surprising.

Here's a list of Patriot performance vs opposition no.1 WR:

Player Team Rec/Yds/TD

Antonio Brown PIT 9/133/1
Sammy Watkins BUF 6/60/1
Allen Robinson JAX 4/68/1
Terrence Williams DAL 2/30/0 (Romo/Bryant out)
TY Hilton IND 6/74/1
Brandon Marshall NYJ 4/67/0

Not bad production. And those are just the no.1 WRs. A couple teams saw success with their no.2s, as well.

Point is, maybe BB's reputation has gotten ahead of his actual performance of late? Rethinking the sitting of Cobb.

Anybody have a fantasy site that breaks down defense vs slot WRs rather than just WRs?
