The Lyricist wrote:Last weekend, in addition to watching the Packers humbly beat the Bears, I played a tons of disc golf as well as poker. I also shared some of my "wealth" with the local strippers. And I composed this:

The Ballad of an Extreme Liberal

Inspired by Kap. For Kap.

I was in love and high on Mars
She won the war and conquered Rome
I saved a black hole from a dying star
And Mary Jane, she called and said come home!

She said, In this pigs-exploited world
No doubt I'm the most beautiful pearl
At the far left is where we'll be
Come to us, we'll set you free
And, oh, fudge the American Knights
Never stop fighting the good fight

So I left my lover high and dry
Fell back to earth and knelt before my Que'en
My lover, he raised the fist but did not cry
Oh, he was the champion of the downtrodden

Chorus:
Kneel down! Kneel down!
Before the virtuous Marxist maiden
Kneel down! Kneel down!
Next to the champion of the downtrodden

Capitalism is an iron trap
Capitalists are inhumane saps
Vive la Kap! Vive la Kap!

Capitalism. Responsible for the most free and prosperous society the world has ever known. Not even a marxist can deny that.

This is a stupid take. 78% of Americans live hand-to-mouth while our society is horrendously corrupted by corporate power at every level; the justice-system gives the rich/powerful virtual immunity to the laws. Conservatives themselves complain about these issues on and off, they just respond by accusing everything of having a "liberal bias." Free?? Pfft. We do not even have legal weed, despite most of the public wanting it (so much for democracy). We rank far behind most other modern, developed nations in quality-of-life indexes.

I'm not against capitalism as a fundamental economic system, but this oligarchical corporate dystopia is not something to brag about. It's also silly to see this issue as a competition, like "Go Capitalism, Beat Socialism!" Both of these systems have their pros and cons and they can be synthesized in ways that balance each other out, but why be rational when we can hold black-and-white views instead?

What freedom? We're all slaves of the capitalists.

Prosperity? Only a small percentage of the population gets to experience it.

Capitalism breeds hatred, violence, warfare, and tons of other craps. Capitalism is the mother of dehumanization.

I noticed the spelling in the pic, but the capitalists' influences in governments should not be understated. In the US, many of the so-called public servants are nothing but puppets of the capitalists, especially Scott Walker.

Yeah, death camps are much better than Capitalism, comrade. Just look at all those people who willingly migrated into East Germany.

Try to wean that down to 0 quickly and find a new hobby. I've enjoyed my share of nudies too, but have since learned that the sex industry drives a lot of exploitative practices against the young men and women who pursue this line of work (namely: human-trafficking, which is basically a form of modern day slavery) -- hashtag: end the demand.

Lol I am glad I decided to click this thread. Gotta say, I can't picture Lyricist in a strip club. It would be great if he styled his dialog with strippers the same way he writes here
Suck it Bears.

HD, didn't someone say that capitalism would implode on itself with increased population years ago, and isn't that what we are seeing now, imo capitalism works as long as the products produced are in demand, unfortunetly we don't produce stuff that we cant get cheaper elsewhere.

TBH, I thought he was talking about male strippers, so in that context I could totally see him in a strip club.

How do you propose ending the demand? Sex drive is what keeps all species, including humans alive. Without it, we would become extinct.

You must be implying that every American male needs to be turned into a dickless eunuch, then. I always thought that was just a fantasy of the Left, not something that you would really believe in. The Left is becoming more irrational every day apparently.

There's actually a lot of truth to this. Low-T is positively correlated with leftism in males. If we want the country to turn rightward again, we need to prioritize lifting and physical fitness again in schools.
