How ticked would you be if you're Petty? You're thinking you'll land somewhere in the 2nd or 3rd to a team like Buffalo, New Orleans, New York (either) or San Diego where a QB job is expected to open up within a year or at most two and you end up riding pine for at least 3 years before possibly being traded or tendered high as a restricted free agent.

I mean, plus side, can't ask for a better place to transition from his college-style offense to a pro-style offense, but it would definitely delay his playing time.

Interesting. Petty expected to go day 2.

NFL.com has a third round grade on him. NFL Draft Scout has a 3-4 grade but has him ranked 117 (21st in the fourth) FWIW.

I think it would be awesome if we took Bryce to backup Aaron. Unfortunately, it seems like whenever we bring in players for a pre-draft visit, we never draft them... :(
Suck it Bears.

Hmmmmmmmm. Has happened once.
The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff

That was a result of Lane Kiffin screwing him over, but I think had he not gone to Baylor and waited 3 years, he wouldn't have made it to the NFL so it all worked out in the end.
Suck it Bears.
