I had already looked into Howard, but didn't realize he was that athletic. He looks a lot like Finley.

Yeah, have no idea what kind of speed that LSU safety has or doesn't have, but that is impressive for a 6'6" guy.

I like Calhoun a lot, too. Super early, but he seems like a guy that maybe won't be there at #32. Certainly hits a need position.

Agree, seen him as high as 12 in some mocks, but CBS rankings at 26 which is what I used is close enough to get the position I wanted for 32.

I'm not as high on Calhoun The body is there but he never put up great numbers. He doesn't have any great pass rush moves and tried to run around blocks when I watched him at times. Just not my favorite guy.

I love the TE pick.m his best football is ahead of him, and with AR he would shine.

If Calhoun is our first round pick, I'll probably freak out. He's too thin and doesn't really win with anything other than speed against bad college linemen. Unlike most small DEs, he doesn't always play on the right side of the DL. Michigan State plays a quarters system that's also boundary/field based, so he plays field. I thought Marcus Rush, Michigan State's boundary DE last year, was the better player. He ended up as a UDFA. Calhoun, like Shane Ray last year, is going to be the EDGE I'm much lower on than the rest of the draft community.

No opinion either way on Howard. Weird how he started declining after his freshman year, though.

Jones, like Howard, was another early flashing player. I haven't seen much MSU this year.

Clark shutdown Oakman, but Oakman might just be horrible.
